Alison Reid Tueller served in the Nebraska Omaha Mission, where she taught Dawn Armstrong, the missionary mom in Meet the Mormons. She graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is the stay-at-home mom of four children, ages 18, 15, 13, and 10. She is currently serving in the Relief Society presidency of her ward in South Jordan, Utah, where her husband is the bishop. She enjoys running, reading, watching sports (especially basketball), and a good laugh.
Becky Thomas was born and raised in Clovis CA. She continues to live and work in Clovis four months of the year, as she partners with her mom as they run the largest seasonal swim school in the United States; The Jan Thomas Swim School. The remaining 8 months she lives in Draper Utah. As she will tell you, she has the best of both worlds, and the only thing that will change that, is finding the man of her dreams, which she is convinced is still out there! Becky graduated from BYU, served a mission, taught at the MTC, taught Gospel Doctrine for 12 years, wrote as a weekly columnist for Deseret News for 2 1/2 years, and has spoken at all types of conferences including BYU Women’s Conference. Becky is in her element when she can share her love of the gospel. She says she is not a scriptorian, doesn't remember what she read 5 minutes after she read it and most books go over her head; however she easily finds meaning and purpose in day to day life and truly loves and has a great passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; her greatest joy is in sharing her love of the gospel.
