Elder Randall K. Bennett was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April2, 2011. He served four years in the Europe East Area Presidency in Moscow, Russia, and the three previous years as president of the Russia Samara Mission. He is currently serving as an assistant executive director in the Priesthood and Family Department and assists in supervising the North America Northeast Area.
Elder Bennett received a doctor of dental surgery from the University of Alberta and a master of science in orthodontics from Loma Linda University in California. He practiced orthodontics in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, California, before moving his family to Salt Lake City, where he worked until being called as a mission president.
Elder Bennett served as a full-time missionary in the France Paris Mission and the France Toulouse Mission. He has served in various ward and stake callings and as a branch president at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.
Elder and Sister Bennett are the parents of four children and 19 grandchildren. They currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.
